Is FocusScore really free?
Yes. The core extension with real-time Focus Score, Shorts blocker, monthly AI focus report, and 30-day dashboard is completely free and will remain free. We plan to offer paid membership plans for power users, families, teams and institutions — but the free tier is not a trial.
Which plan is right for me?
Pricing is grouped into three segments you switch between above — Personal, Work and Institutions — so you only ever compare the three packages that apply to you. Personal is for individuals, students and parents (Free, Personal Pro, and a Family plan). Work is for freelancers, remote workers, and companies (Freelancer, Team, Enterprise). Institutions is for public-sector, healthcare and education organizations (Community, Organization / Campus, District).
Do you have a plan for families or parents?
Yes — the Family plan (in the Personal segment) covers up to 5 profiles with a parental dashboard, safe-content filters, and per-child focus and screen-time insights. It's designed to build healthy habits and support conversations, not to surveil — we deliberately keep what a parent sees at the aggregate, habit level.
Can organizations, healthcare teams or schools use FocusScore?
Yes — the Institutions segment is built for public-sector, healthcare and education organizations. Reporting is aggregate-only with a minimum group size, so no individual is ever singled out. It includes guardian-consent flows, safeguarding controls, and — on the higher tiers — procurement support, a DPA, SSO, and data-residency options on request. Contact us for per-seat or site-licence pricing.
Will you change the free plan later?
No. We are committed to keeping the core features free forever. Any future paid plan will only add features on top of the free tier — we will never remove features from the free plan.
If I upgrade to Pro later, will I see my old data?
Yes. We store all your focus data from day one — no data is ever deleted or capped at the storage level. Free users see the last 30 days in their dashboard. On a paid membership, your full history (every session since you started) becomes visible automatically.
When do the membership plans launch?
We are targeting late 2026 for the first paid memberships. Join the waitlist to be notified first and receive a founding-user discount.
Do you offer student or nonprofit discounts?
We plan to offer a heavily discounted plan for students and nonprofits when paid plans launch. Join the waitlist and indicate your status for priority consideration.
What payment methods will you accept?
When paid plans launch, we will accept all major credit cards via Stripe. We plan to also offer annual billing with a 20% discount.
