App-level focus tracking
The extension sees your browser. The app sees your phone. FocusScore measures foreground time per app, categorises it, and folds it into the same 0–100 Focus Score — so your score reflects your whole day, not just the tab you left open.
Native focus timer
Start a session and the phone helps you keep it. Distracting apps are sent home the moment you open them, Pomodoro cycles are counted natively, and the session ends with a recap of what you actually did.
Session journaling
After each session, one question: did this help? Your answers become a searchable journal — the record of which conditions produce your good sessions, rather than another number you have to interpret alone.
Content filtering that follows you
Shorts and Reels auto-exit, keyword and channel blocking, per-app daily budgets, and a mindful pause before you open the app you always regret opening. All of it runs on-device.
Sleep and recovery context
Health Connect on Android and Apple Health on iOS plug straight into the sleep-versus-focus view — the phone-native sources the browser can't reach. (Oura and Fitbit connect from either client.) Most people find their score is decided the night before, not the morning of.
Family and co-working
Share progress with a family group, join a co-working room, or compare against an anonymous leaderboard. Every one of these is opt-in and off by default.

The App Asks Before It Measures Anything
A focus app that quietly watches your phone is just surveillance with a nicer chart. FocusScore asks a separate, unticked question before any measurement begins, and treats an unanswered question as a no. Decline and the limits, budgets and blocking all keep working — you simply get no score or history. You can withdraw later in one tap, which also drops anything queued but not yet sent.
