We Build Tools That
Give Attention Back.
FocusScore exists because the attention economy is rigged — and people deserve tools that help them fight back with data, not willpower.
Based on anonymised aggregate data. Individual results vary.
The Attention Economy
Has a £700B Problem
The average person now spends 6+ hours per day on digital media. Social media platforms employ thousands of engineers specifically to maximise the time you spend scrolling — even when that time makes you feel worse.
Existing tools either block everything (punitive, doesn't last) or track everything (compromises your privacy). Neither gives you what you actually need: objective, private data about your own attention.
We built FocusScore in January 2026 to answer one question: “Right now, how focused am I actually being?”
Not judged by how you feel (unreliable), not estimated by time spent (too blunt) — but measured by your actual behaviour patterns in real time, computed locally, with zero data sold.
What We Believe In
Four principles that shape every product decision we make.
Privacy is Non-Negotiable
We built FocusScore because we were sick of 'productivity' apps that harvest personal data. Everything is computed locally in your browser. We will never sell your data — to anyone, ever.
Measurement Before Judgement
You cannot improve what you cannot measure. FocusScore gives you objective numbers so you can make informed decisions about your attention — without guilt or shame.
Built on Real Research
Our scoring methodology is grounded in attention research. The five signals we measure (watch time, Shorts ratio, tab-switching, scroll speed, idle time) are validated markers of focused vs. distracted engagement.
Accessible to Everyone
The attention economy disproportionately affects people who cannot afford expensive productivity tools. FocusScore is, and always will be, free at its core.
6 Months. One Goal.
From a blank editor in January 2026 to a live product used by real people every day.
We Practice What
We Preach
We believe in building trust through transparency — not marketing copy. That means being honest about what we collect, why, and what we do with it.
Ready to Own
